nasen Connect_November 2019_The Five Minute Box review

Thank you to NASEN’s Connect magazine for publishing a fantastic independent review of the Five Minute Literacy Box. Parson Street Primary School in Bristol, England, used the Literacy Box in their setting and gave a glowing report. We particularly liked their comment about the children: “The focused 1:1 time has been highly motivating for them and they feel that they are being successful in their learning”. That feeling of progress is key in encouraging what Hywel Roberts calls “botheredness”, the motivation to keep trying. We wish the children at Parson Street Primary great success in their future learning.
